The Crocodile And The Monkey or The Unfaithful Friend There was a large berry tree on the bank of a river. On this tree lived a monkey called Rhesa. He was a clever and good hearted monkey. He offered berries to all the animals and birds who came to the river to quench their thirst. In the river, there lived a crocodile named Magar. He lived with his wife in a cave at the bottom of the river. One day Magar the crocodile came to the river bank to catch his prey. It was a hot and sunny day and Magar had not caught any thing the whole day. Tired and hot, he dragged himself to the shade of the berry tree for some rest. He had hardly closed his eyes when he heard somebody calling out to him. "Hello friend. I am up here." Magar looked up to find Rhesa the monkey smiling down at him. Raj was upset because he had done poorly in his English test. His grandmother sat with him and gave him a pencil. A puzzled Raj looked at his grandma and said he didn’t deserve a pencil after his performance in the test. His grandma explained, ‘You can learn a great many things from this pencil because it is just like you. It experiences a painful sharpening, just the way you have experienced the pain of not doing well on your test. However, it will help you be a better student. Just as all the good that comes from the pencil is from within itself, you will also find the strength to overcome this hurdle. And finally, just as this pencil will make its mark on any surface, you too shall leave your mark on anything you choose to’. Raj was immediately consoled and promised himself that he would do better. Moral of The Story We all have the strength to be who we wish to be.

"Once upon a time there lived a King in his kingdom. He was brave and intelligent. He fought many battles. Every time he was won the battles and saved his kingdom. Once there was a big battle and he was about to win the battle but his enemy attacked from his back and at last king killed him. But he lost his one eye and one leg in the battle. Many days past. One day he asked all the painters in his kingdom to draw a beautiful portrait of him. But none of them could. How could they paint him beautifully with the defects in one eye and one leg? Eventually, one of them agreed and drew a classic picture of the King. It was a fantastic picture and surprised everyone. He painted the King aiming for a hunt. Targeting with his one eye closed and one leg bent on the horse. Moral: Don’t see other’s weakness and always try to highlight their strength.

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?” Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. He then asked, “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
